My fiance and I are FINALLY getting married..after 4 years and a 2 year. We've been discussing for the last couple of years of when we'd like to plan the wedding and we've just decided with one of our favorite holidays..Halloween. Unfortunately, it's on a weekday so we opted for Saturday Oct 26. Our theme is of course, Halloweenish with a Fall feel to it...there wont be any ghoulish or gothic type decor. We've only really found one place that fits our budget, a venue we can easily decorate and has both a ceremony AND reception area..which is the Appleton Museum in Ocala. We were wanting a little more of an old world feeling, like a rustic venue. The hotel venues, other?banquet halls and community centers are not what we are looking for. Does any of the Ocalamoms have venue ideas or have known weddings taking place in Ocala or surrounding cities?(other than the typical venue..i.e.hotels, community centers, etc)? Thank you all for any information you have.
